Overview
The Faculty of Arts at The Open University is home to world-class scholars and research groups working across a range of topics and themes. We have funding to support 2 full-time PhD studentships, to commence 1 October 2010. Studentships provide a stipend of £13,290 per annum, cover tuition fees of £3,390 (the rate for UK or EU students) and provide a fund for expenses of £1,000 per annum.
Eligible Candidates
Successful applicants will usually have at least an upper second class honours in their undergraduate degree and will usually have completed (or will complete by September 2010) a relevant Masters degree. Applications are welcome across the full range of subject areas within the Faculty, although priority may be given to applications which link to existing research strengths.
