The Department of Archaeology and Anthropology at Bristol has one of the largest postgraduate communities in the UK. It has close links to archaeologists at all levels, locally, nationally and internationally and high levels of success in assisting alumni to progress to professional and academic roles in archaeology, anthropology and related fields.

Through the AHRC Block Grant Partnership scheme, the Department is pleased to be able to offer a Professional Preparation Masters Studentship for successful postgraduate applicants beginning programmes in October 2010.
