Overview
Ten PhD/MRes studentships are available from October 2010. The studentships cover tuition fees, research training support grant and a starting stipend of £14,200 per year. The MRes provides advanced level research methods training and is relevant to those wishing to go on to study for a PhD. Together, our MRes and PhD programmes have been awarded 1+3 recognition by the Economic and Social Research Council.
Eligible Candidates
We are looking for highly motivated candidates who have a good honours degree in a related subject. PhD applicants should be able to demonstrate research training equivalent to that of an MRes in a related subject. We welcome exciting projects in any area of expertise within the school:
• Accounting
• Finance
• Human Resources Management, Organization Studies and Organizational Behaviour
• Managing Knowledge and Innovation
• Marketing
• Social Marketing
• Strategic Management
• Public Leadership and Social Enterprise

Provisional arrangements for the interview :
Interviews will form part of the selection process and are to be held 1 -4 June 2010 via web conference or by face to face interview.
PhD applicants are expected to give 15-minute PowerPoint presentation about their proposal, followed by a question session.
We must receive a completed application form, previous degree certificates and transcripts, TOEFL/IELTS test result (if applicable) and a 1000-word research proposal before we can consider your application.
