Overview
Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD studentship to investigate children's social decision making. The project will primarily adopt a quantitative approach and will involve exploration of children's social decision making across the age range 3 to 7 years.
The project will be jointly supervised by Dr. Jacqui Harrison, Dr. Sharon Preston (Developmental Psychology Research Group) and Prof Rob Ranyard (Economic Psychology and Decision Research Group) - see

Amount Awarded
This full-time, three-year studentship will cover the cost of PhD fees at the Home/European rate of £3,460 (subject to confirmation) and a tax-free bursary of £13,590 starting in October 2010. International students are welcome to apply but must fund the difference between EU/UK fees and international fees.
Eligible Candidates
Applicants should possess a minimum of a 2:i BSc (Hons) degree or a Masters degree in Psychology (or equivalents). Well developed skills in data analysis and knowledge of developmental psychology are desirable.
