Job assignments

Doctoral studies and research within the project "Diffusive transport of multivalent ions in cartilage". The project is part of the Linneaus project "Organizing Molecular Matter" and will be carried out at the divisions of physical and theoretical chemistry. The main research methods are comprised of statistical mechanical simulations and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The project will be supervised jointly by Jan Forsman, Olle Söderman and Daniel Topgaard. In addition to research, undergraduate teaching and supervision of scientific equipment may be part of the duties.

Eligibility/Entry Requirements

Formal requirements for doctorate studies in physical chemistry. Master of science in chemistry or civil engineer in chemical engineering or corresponding education (240 higher education credits, ECTS). Education and experience in colloidal chemistry, statistical-mechanical simulations and/or NMR spectroscopy is a merit.


Basis of Assessment

Those who hold an educational stipend or a doctoral student appointment must first be accepted for postgraduate studies. To be accepted, a student must be judged to have the competence necessary to complete a course of postgraduate studies.
