The JDS Program targets young government officers for public sector, researchers, and others with potential to play leadership roles in their specialties after return to each country as well as to become leaders in their homeland in the 21st century. This Program is implemented by the related Ministry of the respective countries, Government of Japan JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).
These JDS fellows have been sent to Japanese higher educational institutions (Master's Program).

Qualification of Applicants: The government officials who belong to the targeting organizations, and who are (1) between the age of 22 and 39 (as of April 1, 2010), (2) more than two-year experience in the target organizations as of October 23, 2009, (3) proficient in English, etc.

Deadline of Submission: 16:00 on October 23, 2009*Applications must be submitted to JICE Office by way of department of your organization in charge of nomination to JDS scholarship.
