3 years fixed term Bursary of £13,290 per annum
We are offering four humanities studentships for suitably qualified candidates wishing to study for a PhD. Funded by the Culture Beacon; students may be able to support teaching up to six hours per week where expertise and availability allows.
Applications are especially invited in the following research areas:
English Literature and Language: 20th Century, Victorian and Romantic, Theory, Postcolonial Literature, Women's writing, Irish Literature, First Nations' Literature, Arab and/or Muslim writing in English, Literary Stylistics, Sociolinguistics: gender and media discourses, EAP and Chinese students' learning.
History: Race and 20th Century American History, 20th Century European immigration and History of Mining.
Politics: Adoption policy.
