Overview
The School of Law is delighted to offer a number of Studentships that will provide the opportunity to undertake research leading to the award of PhD. These prestigious awards will be granted to those applicants who demonstrate excellent academic achievement in Law and present a high quality research proposal which shows the ability to complete research which is a new contribution to the knowledge base.
The Studentships are available in the areas of law in which the School is able to offer supervision. Each award is initially available for one year with the expectation of renewal for a further two years subject to satisfactory performance.
Value of this Studentship
Up to three awards are available providing total financial support of £15,375 pa. This comprises stipendiary income, teaching income and includes a fee waiver of £3,300 (UK/EU level).
