London South Bank University is one of the leading new universities for research and postgraduate teaching. In Psychology, 92% of research outputs were recognised as internationally excellent in RAE 2008. The department is now one of the top four in the post-1992 universities for psychology research. This success was marked by the creation of a new Psychology Research Centre (PRC).
The PRC invites applications for full-time studentships in one or more of the following areas of core expertise: Addictive Behaviours; Developmental Disorders; Group Processes; and Investigative Forensic Psychology.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants will need at last a good 2.1 in Psychology and candidates with a masters degree relevant to their proposed field of study are encouraged.
Value of this studentship
The studentship award is available on a full time basis for one year in the first instance, renewable for a further two years subject to satisfactory progress. The award is made up of a maintenance grant of £15,000, plus tuition fees at UK/EU rate. To be eligible you will need to have been resident in the UK for the past three years (if you are not an EU national this must not have been for full-time study).
