Starting September 1. 2010 six (6) PhD. positions will become available at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Three (3) of these fellowships are open.Three (3) fellowships are earmarked for research at the Department of Biomedicine: These fellowships are for applicants with a higher degree in medicine/dentistry/natural sciences
Program Description
These research fellowships, open to applicants with degrees within any field, will be affiliated with the department that the research fellow’s project naturally falls under.One (1) fellowship is meant for applicants with basic education in medicine. The successful candidate will be working within the field of biochemistry and molecular biology.
One (1) fellowship is for applicants with basic education in medicine. The successful candidate will be working within the field of physiology.
One (1) fellowship is for applicants with basic education in dentistry. The successful candidate will be working within the field of anatomy and cell biology

Benefits
Salary in accordance with salary level 45 (code 1017/20.3) on appointment. Further increases in salary will be based on seniority in the position (salary level 45/51). For applicants who have completed their internships, salary level 47 (code 1017/20.3). Further increases in salary will be based on seniority in the position. For applicants with specialist education, salary level 55 (code 1017/20.15).
Requirements
Required Education Level Degree Master Degree or equivalent
Required Languages ENGLISH
The research fellows will enter an approval doctoral degree programme with a time frame of four (4) years (possibly three years if there are no duties connected to the employment). A draft plan for the completion of the researcher education and a project description must be enclosed with the application. Admission to the researcher education programme is a condition for employment
