Overview
The Fellowship is open to outstanding young mathematicians from around the world, and has especially attractive terms with a total tenure of 2+3 years, starting in 2011.
The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of research in any area of mathematics and will be willing to contribute substantially to the activities of the Mathematics section.
1.The monthly salary will be approximately 3000 euros tax-free + family allowances (including educational allowances for children.)
2.Contribution to health insurance.
3.Research travel grant of 3000 euro per year.
4."Removal grant" + travel expenses (including those of one family member).
5.The fellowship will be extended after a mid-term review of performance. It is possible that this might happen after three years rather than two. This issue will be decided in the near future.
6.In general, we are looking for candidates who have done at least one post-doctoral term. In exceptional cases this can be relaxed.
7.We ask for a CV, research plan and at least three letters of recommendation.
8.The teaching duties will be: one Diploma course of twenty lectures (30 hours) each year. In addition, the Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow will be expected to help with academic decision-making and interact with our visitors.
9.We hope to announce our decision in late September.
