Overview
Arthritis Research UK seeks to fund a number of projects aimed at investigating innovative approaches to enhance the education of health care professionals and the public on musculoskeletal disorders.
The educational activities sponsored by Arthritis Research UK are advised by a recently established Education Strategy Committee (ESC). This body has undertaken a detailed strategic review of its activities in the fields of public and patient education, as well as undergraduate and continuing education of all relevant health care professionals.
Arthritis Research UK is pleased to issue a call for expressions of interest in research on the subject of the education of patients and the public. This will be in relation to particular priority topics – please make sure you read our document, ‘Call for Research Proposals in the Education of Patients and Public', before you apply.
How to apply
The application process will be in two stages, as follows:
Stage 1
Submission of an intent form via our on-line application system, deadline: Wednesday 30 June. The on-line versions of the intent forms, and the on-line submission process, will be available shortly, and must be used for actual submissions. However, in the meantime if you would like a copy of the intent form emailed to you for information, please contact Nick Eyley on n.eyley@arthritisresearchuk.org
