Overview
A Post-doctoral position is available to work on an NRF funded project in Buccal Drug Delivery Systems in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Westville Campus. This position offers a salary of R80,000 per annum and funding is available for 2011 and 2012. The successful candidate is expected to assume duty by 1 February 2011.
Minimum Requirements:
●A PhD in the Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, Chemical and/or Physical Sciences fields
●Experience in at least two of the following areas:
●Buccal Drug Permeation Experiments and Data Analysis
●Experimental Designs and Molecular Modeling with respect to drug delivery
●Novel Drug
Delivery Systems development and Evaluation
●Polymer Synthesis and
Evaluation for Drug Delivery.
Candidates who are self-motivated, rigorous and responsible with a track record showing the ability to conduct independent research work are encouraged to apply.
The closing date for applications is 15 January.
