Description:
This scholarship is funded by an ARC Linkage-Projects grant and will provide support for 3 years on a full-time basis for a research project leading to a PhD. The objective of the research project is to explore the in vitro and in vivo behavior of scaffolds for skeletal tissue regeneration.
Eligibility:
Applicants should have an Honours 1 or 2A degree and or masters in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Science or Biomedical Engineering. Experience/background in histological assessments of bone/cartilage tissue interaction with biomaterials. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
Amount awarded:
The scholarship stipend is $26,669 in 2010 (tax exempt).
