L’Oreal is the world leader in beauty products. As a global company operating in an extremely competitive industry, L’Oreal places great importance on recruiting the best graduate talent. In order to support its marketing leader position, L’Oreal (NZ) is seeking to identify and support talented, well rounded commerce students, with a view to integrating them into their graduate trainee programme upon completion of studies.
AWARD DETAILS
The successful applicant will be offered:
(i) Direct payment of 4th year Honours tuition fees plus negotiated course related costs to a maximum value of $NZ5,000 + GST
(ii) Holiday employment within a division of L’Oreal (NZ) – Auckland, for the summer holiday period between 3rd and 4th year and one other 4th year holiday period. L’Oreal will provide travel costs and living allowance if the successful applicant is not a resident in the Auckland area.
(iii) The possibility of 2 year full-time contract as an Assistant Product Manager within a division of L’Oreal (NZ) – Auckland
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to apply for this award, applicants must be a;
(i) NZ Citizen or permanent resident,
(ii) 3rd year Honours student (Marketing Management major)
APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Complete the application form (available from the Scholarships Office, Clocktower Building, University of Otago).
2. Return the following to the Scholarships Office:
• Completed application form
• Cover letter
• CV (maximum 3 x single side A4 pages)
• Character Reference
• Recent passport size photo
• Original academic transcript (including 2nd year results)
PPLICATION TIMELINE
7 May: Applications Close with the Scholarship Office at 5pm
Week concluding 21 May: Applications considered with short-listed candidates notified by mail shortly thereafter
2 June - 4 June: Interviews held in Dunedin with short-listed candidates
Week commencing 7 June: Online assessment for selected short-listed candidates
Week commencing 5 July: Second interviews and assessment in Auckland. All associated costs will be Met by L’Oreal
Week commencing 25 July: Successful applicant notified by mail
