Overview
International Priority Graduate Programmes:
1. Japan-Germany Dual Master’s Degree Program in International Material Flow Management (IMAT).
The IMAT program is a joint degree program with the University of Applied Sciences, Trier in Germany. The interdisciplinary curriculum integrates engineering, economics and environmental sciences, linking economic development with environmental protection through the application of business and technology management strategies of a global scale.
Degrees awarded:
Master of Science in International Cooperation Policy from APU Master of Engineering in International Material Flow Management from the University of Applied Sciences, Trier
2. Comparative Institution Design for Transition Economy and Business Management, under APU’s Graduate School of Management.
The Transition Economy program aims to develop global leaders who can design systems that lead to corporate reform and that promote and create independent, sustainable and innovative new industries that make the most of the individual cultures and environments of developing countries.
Degree awarded: Master of Business Administration
3. Innovation and Technology Management program under APU’s Graduate School of Management.
In this program students will obtain general and systematic management knowledge and skills as well as specialist skills related to innovation and technology management. This program will foster international human resources who can fulfill roles required by corporations for innovation and technology management, as well as proactively respond to the international human resource needs and societal demands of today.
Degree awarded: Master of Business Administration
In addition, up to 4 scholarships will also be granted to applicants to any of APU’s graduate programs (including those not listed above).
Amount
* Application fee, admissions fee, and tuition fee will be exempted.
* A round-trip airplane ticket between the grantee’s home country and Japan will be provided.
* A monthly allowance of 170,000 yen, and 160,000 yen in and after the thirteenth month of stay in Japan
* (For the IMAT program only) A monthly allowance of up to 715* Euro for 10 months during the second year spent in Germany and transportation cost of up to 1215* Euro between Japan and Germany will be sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) instead of the Japanese Government. (*Amounts and durations are subject to change).
Requirements
* Overseas Applicants eligible to commence their postgraduate studies.
* Minimum Score of 600 on the Paper Based TOEFL or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3.5 (out of 4) accumulative GPA or equivalent.
