International Fulbright scholarship in the sciences and technology gives a chance to receive education in one of the most famous educational institutions in the United States free of charge (the degree of Doctor of Science (PhD)).
A valid list of specialties:
The International Fulbright Science and Technology Award program is open to 18 fields of study
1.aeronautics and aeronautics and astronomics / aeronautical engineering
2.agriculture (theoretical or research-based focus only)
3.astronomy/planetary sciences
4.biology
5.biomedical engineering
6.chemistry
7.computer sciences / engineering
8.energy
9.engineering (electrical, chemical, civil, mechanical, ocean, and petroleum)
10.environmental science / engineering
11.geology/earth and atmospheric sciences
12.information sciences and systems (engineering focus only)
13.materials science / engineering
14.mathematics
15.neurosciences
16.oceanography
17.public health (theoretical research focus only)
18.physics
Eligible Candidates
- Applicants must be citizens of Kazakhstan, living in Kazakhstan at the time of application or permanent residents holding a valid passport issued by Kazakhstan.
- Applicants must have a master's degree before August 1, 2011.
- Candidates should have good results TOEFL - 580 and above.
The deadline for receiving documents May 17, 2010
