Overview
The successful candidate shall handle data management, statistical analyses, graphical analysis, and documentation for IRRI long-term experiments, research in the IRRI soil science group, and collaborative research with national partners.
Major Responsibilities:
1.Handle data management, statistical analyses, graphical analyses, and documentation for IRRI long-term experiments (LTEs), including maintaining and updating the IRRI LTE database.
2.Conduct advanced statistical and graphical analysis for research in the IRRI soil science group, including collaborative research with national organizations.
3.Provide technical advice on experimental design, statistical analyses, data management, and graphical analyses to researcher and research partners of the soil science group.
4.Participate in the preparation and writing of technical reports and scientific papers from the data collected in the experiments.
5.Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor IRS.
Requirements
•BS Statistical or related field
•2 years of relevant experience
•Proficiency in MS Excel and Access. Good working knowledge of SAS and statistical packages. Familiarity with sigma plot and graphical packages.
