PhD Studentship
Bursary of £13,590 per annum
1 year fixed term, with a possibile extension up to 3 years depending on funding availability
The Faculty of Education and Society, Department of Culture is offering one Humanities Studentship for a suitably qualified candidate wishing to study for a PhD. The scholarship is funded by the Culture and Regional Studies Beacon. Applications are invited in the following areas:
English Literature and Linguistics
20th Century, Victorian and Romantic, Theory, Women's Writing, Children's Literature, Postcolonial Literature, First Nation's Literature, Arab and/or Muslim Writing in English, Literary Stylistics, Sociolinguistics: gender and media discourses.
History
Race and 20th Century American History, 20th Century European immigration, History of Mining.
