Tutorial Fellowship and Titular University Lectureship (CUF) in Law

Devising and delivering high-quality tutorials, classes, and lectures, you will have excellent research capability (which may be demonstrated by a postgraduate degree or similar). In return, you will enjoy an exceptionally rich academic environment in which to pursue research and teaching in Law. The preferences of both the College and the Law Faculty, in regards to your teaching, are set out in the further particulars.

The post is available from 1 October 2011 or as soon as possible thereafter, and is initially held on a titular basis.

The salary will be on a scale currently from £42,563 to £57,201 per annum, with substantial additional benefits, including a pensionable housing allowance of £9,986 per annum payable to non-residential Tutorial Fellows; a responsibility allowance of £1,451 per annum; and a choice of schemes for research and teaching expenses, amounting to between £1,250 and £1,700 per annum. Jesus College operates an equity sharing scheme, to assist Fellows in purchasing their house. The Faculty of Law will also provide the lecturer with a start-up grant of £4,000 (unless you currently hold an established Oxford University academic post).

Referees should be asked to write directly to the Principal by the same date.
