Scotland: 50 Postgraduate Research Studentships at The University of Stirling

Overview

The University of Stirling is delighted to announce investment in over 50 Postgraduate Research Studentships for study commencing in session 2010-11 across our 5 key research areas: Health and Wellbeing, Environment and People, Culture and Society, Enterprise and Economy, and Sport.

Our Highland Campus is based in Inverness and the Western Isles Campus is in Stornoway. Both are leaders in teaching and research for nursing and midwifery.

Postgraduate Research Studentships are available across the following departments and include maintenance and fees for 3 years.

Value of this studentship

Our Postgraduate Research Studentships offer full tuition fees at UK/EU rates, an annual stipend at UK Research Council rates (currently £13, 489), and research expenses of £750 per year. These will be awarded through an open competition to full-time PhD students commencing their research programme in Session 2010-11.
