Overview
Four PhD positions are available from October 2010 as part of the Chemical Synthesis of Transformative Extended Materials EPSRC Programme Grant. This involves the synthesis of new porous, nanostructured and oxide materials and the detailed evaluation of their properties for a range of applications. Illustrative project areas are given below. For details of the individual themes please contact those named below or Professor A I Cooper (email: aicooper@liv.ac.uk) or Professor M J Rosseinsky (email: m.j.rosseinsky@liv.ac.uk).
• New organic materials for drug delivery
• NMR studies of advanced materials
• Computational studies of advanced materials
• Thin film growth of complex inorganic oxides
