UK: Simon and Hallsworth Research Fellowships at The University of Manchester

Overview

Humanities: The Simon and Hallsworth Fellowship Schemes use generous endowments to appoint a number of Research Fellows each year in the Social Sciences and Political Economy. Research support for the Social Sciences is provided principally, though not exclusively, by the Faculty of Humanities, the largest Faculty in the University.

One post in any of the Social Sciences, broadly conceived, tenable for up to 3 years from 1 September 2010. This fellowship is intended for outstanding early career researchers who have completed a doctoral degree. A record of research and publications or demonstrated potential for research in relevant subject areas is essential. You will receive research expenses of up to £1000 per annum.

Salary

Grade 6 £28,983 - £35,646 / Grade 7 £36,715 - £45,155
