School of Geography, Archaeology and Earth Resources (Studentships and Fellowships)
The University of Exeter is offering twenty awards of £1,050 each for students beginning the MSc Climate Change and Risk Management at our Cornwall Campus in October 2009. The awards will be allocated according to merit, based on undergraduate degree result.
The MSc Climate Change and Risk Management is the first Masters programme in the UK that combines an understanding of risk with climate change, providing you with the skills demanded across a range of sectors, and in turn, improving your employment prospects. The programme is closely informed by expertise in the business community, from national and international NGOs, and in the world-leading climate modelling and prediction capability of the UK Met Office’s Hadley Centre in Exeter.
The awards are funded by the European Social Fund and are open to EU residents (including UK). All eligible applicants, who have been accepted onto the programme by Friday 25 September 2009, will be automatically considered for an award. Further details about the programme and these scholarships can be obtained from Dr Jasper Knight (j.knight@exeter.ac.uk).
