Applications are invited for the above studentships offered by the Business School, in conjunction with an applied health research institute.
CLAHRC NDL is an applied health research partnership between the University of Nottingham and NHS organisations in the East Midlands, funded by the National Institute for Health Research. Its mission is to undertake high quality, applied research and related education in order to enable a 'step change' in the way research informs service development. CLAHRC-NDL fosters 'knowledge exchange' that improves the quality and effectiveness of health and social care delivery across the East Midlands.
For these studentships, PhD research should focus on any issue associated with innovation in healthcare and/or the translation of clinical evidence into practice.
Value of this studentship
These studentships are fully funded, covering full tuition fees as well as tax-free living expenses of £13,650 per year (ESRC rate for 2010-11). Due to funding restrictions these studentships are only open to UK/EU students.
