What is the Fulbright Science and Technology Award?
The International Fulbright Science and Technology (S&T) Award for outstanding foreign students is designed to be among the most prestigious scholarships in science and technology and provides for PhD study in science, technology, or engineering at top U.S. institutions.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be Libyan citizens who have completed a Master’s degree and who have a recent TOEFL score of 580 or higher and a GRE General Exam score of at least 700. It is highly recommended that the applicant have received his/her Master’s degree in the same or a related field for which he/she plans to pursue Ph.D. study.

A complete application includes:
1. An Online Application and a Printed Paper Application
2. A Clearly Written Research Objective
3. A Professional Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
4. Three Letters of Reference from Academic or Professional Supervisors
5. Academic Transcripts and Diplomas
6. TOEFL and GRE Score Reports or Proposed Dates of Enrollment in the Tests
7. Color Copy of Passport Information Pages (English and Arabic) and 2 Passport-Size Photos
Please deliver your completed application packet to the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy located on Jeraba Street, behind the Libyan Swiss Clinic.
