What is the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship?
Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships enable Libyans to pursue graduate-level study in the United States, build leadership skills, and exchange cultural understanding with Americans. Scholarship recipients will study at a select university in the United States for two years.
Scholarships will be awarded for programs beginning in August 2011.
Who can apply?
Scholarships are open to Libyan citizens living in Libya who hold a minimum of a BA/BS degree,
want to pursue graduate study at the Master's Degree level, and have a recent TOEFL score of 550 or higher. Candidates will also have to take the GRE test.

A complete application includes:
1. An Online Application and a Printed Paper Application
2. A Professional Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
3. Three Letters of Reference from Academic or Professional Supervisors
4. Academic Transcripts and Diplomas
5. TOEFL and GRE Score Reports or Proposed Dates of Enrollment in the Tests
6. Color Copy of Passport Information Pages (English and Arabic) and 2 Passport-Size Photos
Please deliver your completed application packet to the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy located in Tripoli on Jeraba Street, behind the Libyan Swiss Clinic.

The deadline for submitting completed application packages is May 15, 2010
