Overview
The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (UNEFP) invites applications from interested Pakistani nationals for Pakistan Professional Partnership Program for Public Asministration. Women, minorities, persons from FATA, Gilgit/Baltistan, Balochistan and other remote areas, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
•Pakistani citizens
•Currently hold position as a non-elected public administration professional at the local , provincial or federal level.
•Atleast 5 years of active experience in the field of public administration
•Bachelor's degree
•Demonstrate an interest and ability to transfer new knowledge and skills acquired in the U.S. to professional activities at home through projects developed in the U.S
Selection Criteria:
The following criteria will be considered in selection of participants: expressed commitment to carrying out project activities; an understanding of project goals and objectives; less than fifteen years of service in the relevant field; current employment in the field of public administration; and openness to change. Also preferred are candidates who have not travelled to the United States and who have not previously participated in this type of program. Applications from those working at the local or provincial level are preferred. Project organizers also strive for ethnic, geographical, and gender diversity in composition of selected candidates.
Instructions to applicants. Please fill in the attached application form carefully, using as much space as provided. Please type, or spell very clearly. Applications are due no later than Friday, November 19, 2010. Please send your completed application form to the U.S. Educational Foundation in Pakistan at P.O. Box 1128.
