Binks Trust Scholarship for the LLM European Law 2010/2011 – Edinburgh Law School
Scholarship Introduction:
Edinburgh Law School is delighted to announce The Binks Trust Scholarships to support students taking the LLM in European Law. This new initiative forms part of a wider effort by the School of Law, its alumni and supporters to enhance financial support for its students at all levels in the context of the School’s 300th anniversary celebrations in 2007.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
The award comprises Home/EU LLM in European Law fees and a £500 study support grant (to assist with, for example, the purchase of books, printing costs, photocopying costs, or other related learning costs). The award will be available to graduates who have an outstanding academic record in law; preference will be given to candidates who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (minimum of three years preceding application).
How to apply:
Applicants must send an email to pg.law@ed.ac.uk indicating that they wish to apply for a Binks Trust Scholarship and also apply for the LLM in European Law through the normal University application route. Applications for 2010-2011 awards will be accepted from 1 November 2009.
