The Association of Asia Scholar is calling for Papers - MILLENNIAL ASIA

Overview

The journal publishes original research papers with comparative perspectives in any area of social sciences and humanities related to Asian Countries. All papers are refereed through a double blind process. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Papers will be published as soon as possible, usually in the issue of the journal that follows acceptance of the article.

The submissions may include original research articles, review articles, book reviews and thematic discussions. Articles must have clearly stated questions and theses or hypotheses. Their contribution and findings must be succinctly explained. Because Millennial Asia is committed to interdisciplinary work and research on complex historical and contemporary Asian themes, scholars are encouraged to cite scholarship beyond the narrow confines of single disciplines alone and to explain their work concisely to those from different disciplinary areas.


*Type of Articles*:

1. Research articles:
• Articles must be no longer than 10,000 words, including list of tables, charts, diagrams and references using Times New Roman, Font 12 and double-space • All articles must be accompanied by an abstract of 150-200 words • Up to six key words may be provided by the contributor
2. Review articles: Review articles must be no longer than 5,000 words
3. Book reviews: Desirable length for book reviews is 2,000 words
4. Thematic discussions: Desirable length for thematic discussions is 3,000-5,000 words.

REFERENCES

Millennial Asia prefers to use American Psychological Association (APA) reference style which uses (i) in-text parenthetical citations, and (ii) a reference list (sorted by author’s surname) at the end of the article. Please refer to the American Psychological Association (APA) publication manual at http://www.apastyle.org/ for instructions on preparation of manuscript.

OTHER GUIDELINES:

1. All articles (including charts, diagrams, references etc.) must be submitted in electronic format (MS Word). Graphs may be sent in MS Excel format 2. All contributors are requested to send complete contact details for correspondence. This will include full name and institutional affiliation, postal address, email, telephone and fax numbers.
