One-Year Tutorial Fellowship and Departmental Lectureship in English Literature and Language of the Early Modern Period
Value of this lectureship
£28,839 - £35,469 per annum (depending on experience)
Applications are invited for a one-year, fixed-term Tutorial Fellowship and Departmental Lectureship in English Literature and Language of the Early Modern Period, tenable from 1 October 2010. The appointment is to fulfil teaching and research needs arising from a period of academic leave granted to a current post-holder. There is a possibility (subject to external funding) that the post may be extended until 30 September 2012. It is hoped to confirm this by April 2010.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must possess a D.Phil. or equivalent; a strong research record in the period of English literature 1509-1832; and a record of successful teaching within this field. Applications are especially welcome from those with research interests in sixteenth and/or seventeenth-century literature.
