The Faculty of Economics (FEUB) Undergraduate – Scholarship Exchange Program
University of Brawijaya – Indonesia

Brawijaya University (UB) became a public university in 1963. Today, UB is one of the leading universities in Indonesia with more than 30,000 students in varying degrees ranging from bachelor's degree program, Master Program, Doctoral Program, and Medical Specialist Program in 10 faculties.

UB campus is located in the city of Malang, East Java, in a strategic location is easily accessible by public transport. Thanks to the trees growing in every corner of the campus and the fresh air of Malang, you can find a campus of UB very cool. A city of education, Malang has developed rapidly. This seems to be inseparable from the triumph of East Java in the past.

Faculty of Economics (FEUB) is one of the powers of the UB and is also known as one of the Faculties of Economics of the best reputation in Indonesia. It is proven by an "A" accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education in Indonesia for all departments (Accounting, Administration and Development Economics). In addition, FEUB also a member of AACSB International (Association of Advanced Collegiate School of Business). These facts indicate that FEUB has been recognized as an extraordinary power in both national and international level. These accomplishments provided motivate high FEUB to continuously improve its quality in education.

FEUB-Undergraduate Exchange Program Scholarship is an initiative of world class through FEUB University (WMU) program offered to international students who are interested in spending a semester (four months) in one of our department in FEUB: (1) Accounting (2) Management (3) Development Economics (Economics). This grant will provide education, research and professional development opportunities to support growth in the region and to build lasting links to the individual, institutional and national levels. This program is also designed for international students to gain experience living and studying on a campus of Indonesia.


General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must

•Be a citizen of a country in the Asia-Pacific region.
•Be a regular full-time student at a university in the Asia-Pacific studying Accounting, Management / Business and Economy (have completed at least their first year of study at the university of origin).
•Have you met FEUB academic requirement (minimum 3.0 GPA of 4.0 or equivalent rating system)
•Have you met the English requirements for the course to be considered for a scholarship with a minimum of TOEFL 550 or equivalent
•Do not hold or have held an Indonesian Government funded scholarship in the last 12 months at the time of application
•Complete all requirements of the Immigration Department in Indonesia
•Not married or de facto, or committed to a person who has or is eligible to hold a position of Indonesia.

What FEUB Undergraduate Exchange Program Scholarship cover?


•Tuition fees for one semester
•Campus Lodging (4 months)
•Standard Living Allowance (4 months)
•Return flights (economy class)
Credit Transfers

Academic Credits (usually around 15 to 18 credit hours) of the UB may be transferred to the home university as part of the requirements for graduation. Questions on subjects offered can be communicated via email: iup_economics@yahoo.com

Upon completion of this program students will receive an exchange program FEUB academic record.

Applicants must complete an application form a certified copy of all relevant documents, including:

•Copy of academic transcript / record
•Letter of support from the home university

Exchange Program Scholarship Applications for semester 1, 2010 must be submitted by July 30, 2010.

Results of applications

Students applying for a scholarship for the semester 1 2010 will be advised of the outcome of their application in August 2010 the third.
