Australian Rotary Health Research Fund PhD Scholarships 2011

Overview

Applications for Funding Partner PhD Scholarships are being called for by the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund. The Scholarships are available in:

Research Companion PhD Scholarship investigating Motor Neuron Disease

PhD Scholarship investigating Motor Neuron Disease
PhD Scholarship investigating Parkinson’s Disease
PhD Scholarship investigating Depression
PhD Scholarship investigating Phenylketonuria
PhD Scholarship investigating Role of Metals in Treatment of Cancer
PhD Scholarship investigating Diabetes
PhD Scholarship investigating Bowel Cancer
PhD Scholarship investigating Infant Limb Deficiency

Geoff Bailey PhD Scholarship for indigenous students investigating any field of health research
(Please note that other PhD Scholarships are advertised on the ARH website but students undertaking a PhD in NSW are not eligible to apply).

Eligibility:

Applicants must be about to commence a PhD, or be in the first year of a PhD at a University or research institute in Australia. (Please note: the Scholarship tenure will be reduced by any periods of study undertaken towards the degree prior to the commencement of the Scholarship.)

Applicants must enrol as full-time students to receive the Scholarship and must not receive any additional scholarship.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Residents and not be under bond to any foreign government.

Applicants enrolled in a combined research/coursework degree are not eligible to apply.


Amount awarded:

The value of the Scholarships varies. Scholarships can be held for up to three years.
