Competition for the establishment of three Fulbright Lectureship in American Studies three-year (academic year 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16), at Italian universities.
Purpose
Establishment of three Italian universities Fulbright Lectureship in American Studies three-year (academic year 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16). The teaching positions are reserved for American academics to conduct any research and teaching for a period of four months in the field of American Studies.
Recipients
Italian universities offering courses of study in one of the disciplines related to American Studies: anthropology, art history, business administration, communications, economics, education, ethnic studies, gender studies, history, international relations, law, literature, philosophy, political science, popular culture, sociology, urban planning and women's studies.
Benefits of Lectureship
The scholarship offered by the Fulbright Commission for the Lectureship is Euro 12,820 for each academic year, as a contribution to the maintenance costs of the fellow and the journey between Italy and the United States. The bag also includes the following benefits:
- Medical insurance coverage funded by the U.S. Government
- Sponsorship of the entry visa in Italy
The universities concerned to establish a collaborative agreement with the Fulbright Commission for a Fulbright Lectureship in American Studies at their premises, to submit applications to the Commission by the deadline of March 15, 2011.
