Overview
Rehabilitation Research and Training Pre-doctoral Fellowships at Boston University.
The Rehabilitation Research and Training Pre-Doctoral Fellowship program offered through Boston University’s Center for Enhancing Activity and Participation among Persons with Arthritis (ENACT) is designed for health professionals interested in researching and promoting activity and participation outcomes among adults with chronic conditions, particularly those with arthritis. The fellowship program has a strong emphasis on knowledge and skills related to clinical research methods, rehabilitation processes and outcomes, and rheumatological disease processes and outcomes.
Four pre-doctoral fellowships supported by the newly funded National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Arthritis are currently available. The fellowships provide tuition and a stipend for 4 years of study. All trainees must be enrolled full-time in the Boston University’s Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation Science program.
ENACT offers exciting opportunities in novel research and educational areas related to enhancing physical activity and participation in work and daily activities among persons with rheumatological conditions. ENACT has an accomplished faculty of national and international leaders in clinical research, rheumatology and rehabilitation research, and education.
Selection Criteria
