She brought this passion to her work, and inspired others to become involved in addressing challenging health policy issues. This program honors the legacy of former Congresswoman Barbara Jordan, a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Kaiser Family Foundation, by providing paid summer Congressional fellowships for outstanding students with a strong interest in racial and ethnic health disparities.
